Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Key Sports Network ("KSN", "we", "us") is the owner and data controller for KSN Intelligence (the "Dashboard"), which offers analytics for individual games. This policy explains what data the Dashboard handles and how it is protected. See also our Terms of Service.

2. Data shown in the Dashboard

The Dashboard presents rugby match data: fixtures, scores, scoring and disciplinary events, possession, and player information (name, shirt number, position, team and, where available, a photograph). This data is collected from live match scoring and is owned by KSN.

3. How the data is protected

• Each game has its own PIN. The server checks the PIN and only then releases that game's data. PINs are stored only as salted hashes, never in readable form.
• Repeated wrong PIN attempts are blocked for a period of time.
• Game data is encrypted at rest in the database with AES-256-GCM. The encryption key is held separately from the database, in the server's protected environment.
• Access lasts for a limited session. The unlock token lives in your browser's session storage and is removed when you close the tab or choose Lock.
• All traffic is served over HTTPS.

No system is perfectly secure, and the protection depends on keeping each PIN confidential.

4. What we collect from visitors

The Dashboard has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking cookies. PINs you enter are sent to our server only to be checked and are not stored. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and operation, and we use IP addresses briefly to limit repeated failed PIN attempts.

5. Third-party services

• Hosting and database: the site and its database are hosted by Railway, which may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and operation.
• Fonts: typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
• Player photos: images are loaded from KSN's image storage provider (Supabase), which receives your IP address when images load.

These providers have their own privacy policies. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.

6. Player information

Player details are used only to present match statistics and analytics. If you are a player shown in the Dashboard and want to ask about, correct or remove your information or photograph, please contact KSN.

7. Retention

Match data is kept for as long as KSN needs it for analytics and record-keeping, and is removed or corrected on valid request where required by law.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the use of personal data about you. To exercise them, contact KSN.

We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version.
